Amateur photographers, happy to accept small checks for snapshots, are underpricing professionals.
This article is SAD, however a true reality for all photographers who have worked a lifetime to understand light, posing, business and all the professional techniques to separate amateurs from qualified and dedicated professional photographers. I still believe that those of us who have the GIFT of making exceptional photographs and are committed, will not only survive, but thrive as long as they adjust and adapt their business skills to the digital era.
